2. Hosting via Shopify

Our online shop is operated via the e-commerce platform Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Victoria Buildings, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland). Shopify processes personal data that arises during visits and orders (e.g., IP address, order and contact details) on our behalf, based on a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. A transfer to third countries (including Canada, USA) may occur; for Canada, an adequacy decision by the EU Commission exists. Further information: Shopify Privacy Policy.

3. Collection and Processing for Orders

To process your order, we process the data you provide (name, address, email address, payment and delivery data). The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance). For delivery, we pass on your address data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery or to our suppliers, to the extent necessary for delivery. A transfer to suppliers outside the EU may occur; we ensure an adequate level of data protection through suitable guarantees (e.g., EU standard contractual clauses).

4. Payment Service Providers

When paying via external payment service providers (e.g., PayPal, Klarna, credit card via Shopify Payments), your payment data is processed directly by the respective provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

5. Cookies

Our shop uses technically necessary cookies to provide basic functions such as the shopping cart (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, § 25 para. 2 TDDDG). Insofar as additional, non-necessary cookies (e.g., for statistics or marketing) are used, this only occurs with your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 para. 1 TDDDG), which you can revoke at any time.

6. Storage Duration

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as long as statutory retention periods exist (especially from commercial and tax law, usually 6 or 10 years).

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights towards us regarding your personal data: Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) as well as a right to object to processing based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority; the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Ansbach, is responsible for Bavaria.
